Guys, how often do you make these copies in a day? Can't you replace hibernation by completely turning off your computer?
@ hydrant
The backup schedule is every secound day
And shutdown is not in my interest

Hello,

I've just installed Cobian Reflector and I have an issue similar to what other people in this thread are having. Whenever I shut down my PC, the backup tasks stop running automatically next time I turn on my PC.

I want to stress that the option "Run missed backups" is enabled. The task schedule type is "Timer" and set to run every 480 minutes. with "Lower limit" at "0:00" and "Upper limit" at "23:59". The "Backup type" is "Dummy task" because I want to use an external archiver (ZPAQ) through a Command Line command. In the "Events" tab I have a Pre-backup event which is "Command line..." where I pasted my ZPAQ backup command. I have no Post-backup events.

My Cobian Reflector installation type is to run as application rather than service, but the application successfully starts with windows (I can see it in the task bar). If I run my backup tasks manually, Cobian Reflector works fine and backups automatically every 480 minutes, as set in the schedule.... until next shutdown. :( Am I doing something wrong?

The timer type is NOT included in the Missed backups conntrol. Only Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearle are checked.

Bummer. So I have to manually start the backup jobs every morning for the timers to start working? Is there any way I can automate this?

A timer backup should start directly after 480 min (in your case).

But it doesn't, that's the problem. :/ I have to manually start all jobs for the timer to start counting down. If I don't do this, no backups are made throughout the day.
