Hello.
I have a backup task which copies microsoft sql database files ( ._MS , ldf ).
Today i realized that, the Cobian Reflector suprisingly, copies files without stoping the Sql Server.
anyone has tried it? is it a reliable way to backup or am i wrong?

If you are using Volume Shadow Copy then yes, you should get a good snapshot.
