Why is mirror task not deleting backups?

I've enabled mirror task, but after deleting the original file, then performing a backup, the deleted file is still showing up in my backup drive. Isn't mirroring supposed to remove that file from the backup drive?

I guess you are creating separated backups?

no I'm not, that option is not selected, and obviously mirror task is selected.

Perhaps your task is a ftp/sftp one?

no, it's a local backup from my downloads folder onto my SD card.

Should work then. Activate the Verbose log option and see if you find out some clue there.
