Hello Luis,

unexpectedly, I`ve meet the problem with starting main service

Windows 10 LTSC 1809, last updates.
no 3rd party AV software

System.evtx hasnt Cobian related records
Application.evtx contain this:

not Clean reinstall helped neither changes in Cobian-service system settings

any idea?

Last info about event- it seems like a net framework issue

net.framework things fixed, its everything ok now, engine do start again

what was the solution please? I already installed netframeword 4.8 and I was not successful, I have the same problem as yours of not starting the service.

Ooops, I`ve missed that, Sorry.

In my case it was "not cool" way to fix.
After many unsuccessful attempts I`m gave up.
Finally I`m just upgraded my Windows.LTSC from 1809 to 21H2. And its works.

Try to repair the permissions as well and restart the program.
