FULL backup failed, Drive letter got changed, I fixed the drive letter, then manually reran the backup, COBIAN does not consider the FULL backup
an error? It ran a Differential backup instead? So if a backup runs and fails COBIAN considers that a valid backup entry?

Re: FULL Backup failed, next backup a Differential?
No, if a fatal error arises then no entry should have been added.

Re: FULL Backup failed, next backup a Differential?
Sorry to be contradictory. I saw the same problem in the past:
Cobian Reflector tried to do a full backup. That didn't work, because the network drive used as destination wasn't reachable at that time. The next backup Cobian Reflector tried to execute was a differntial backup.
And to make it worse, no files were backed up in this differential backup!!!

This happens only if Options-Engine-Save empty backups is selected.

Re: FULL Backup failed, next backup a Differential?
Ok, I will try this...
But the full backup is not only empty, it fails with an error. I think Reflector should consider this an handle it appropiate. There is an important difference between empty backups and failed backups.
