Hello
For my backup task, I have specified a value of 160 for "Make a full backup every..." parameter. Everything is running fine, no problems. However, I have been unable to find what the current backup count is - just can't find it anywhere. Is there a way of finding out what the current backup count is? I would like to know when my incremental backups are approaching the 160 threshold.
Thanks and regards ... Noel

Check the task's history tab

Thank you for your kind response. I have checked this, and drilled down on history entries, but I still cannot see what I'm looking for.
Am I missing something? What should I see?

Re: Current Backup Count Visibility
You will see the list with all the backups for the giving task. You can count the number of incremental/differential backups since the last full.

Re: Current Backup Count Visibility
I would like to suggest an improvement for Reflector:
that the current backup count (since the last full backup) be displayed on the log and/or in the history tabs.
This would make the management of backups much easier and give your wonderful software a productivity boost.

Re: Current Backup Count Visibility
I was wondering the same thing, however, I only have 4 Diff. cycles to track - not 160
I too would find this a helpful feature appearing in the log. "3 of 15 Differential Backups"
Perhaps a parameter variable %DIFFCOUNT? This value could be placed in the email subject line, easily noting how many diffs are completed. I do this with %ERRORS. If there was an error, I can tell before opening the email.
Thank you!

Re: Current Backup Count Visibility
Yes, parameters is a good idea. I really want to avoid adding features with new strings because then it will be an infinity waiting for translations.

Oh my...yeah that's understandable.
