Again about a temp directory

Post by Blechdose »

Hi
I have a topic for thinking
The question about archiving in bypassing the temporary folder was raised on the forum several times. It seems to me that this is done in order for copying to be effective at several directions. And when unloading on FTP in no way.
As an example, I have one disc C:. I make a monolithic archive in a network folder (\\server\copy). I seem to be a temporary folder \\server\copy\temp
Thus, I exclude the overflow of my system disc.
What happens when copying:
1. In a temporary folder, an archive (recording) is created.
2. The archive check for correctness. As far as I understand it, it is unpacking each archive file in the same folder. There is a load on the network disk (reading+recording).
3. Copying the archive from the temporary folder to the destination folder (reading+recording).
Is it possible to make an option that all the same would allow you to copy without a temporary folder? This would save from the problem in paragraph 3
Is it possible to check the archive "in memory" without physical unraveling files? point 2

Thanks for all your hard work.

Perhaps a re-desing is needed.
