How to use Remote Client?

I use Cobian Reflector to backup some network drives to a Backup PC. Now I want to backup documents etc from some PCs to the same Backup PC.

I have downloaded the remote client but I don't know how to use it. There is a folder, but no installer and no documentation. I have searched the forums for Remote Client, RemoteClient "Remote Client" etc, but there is nothing.

Do I copy it to each remote PC and run it there?
Is it an extension for the Reflector program that gets installed on the backup server ?

Is there any documentation?

The remote client is used to control a remote installation. It doesn't do backup. You need to use the same program (reflector) instead.

Thank you for the reply - but I am still confused.

I have Reflector installed on one remote PC and I have created a job. If I run it manually the job is ok.
Now I want to control that backup remotely - so I open the Remote Client on a different PC and add a connection in the Site manager.

I give it the PC name and the default port number

What is the password I am supposed to enter - A password for the job or for the remote PC?
Why does it not need a user name?

I save the connection and try to open it. I give it any password I can think of but always get:

Connecting...
ERR The connection has timed out.
Disconnected from the remote host.

What am I missing?

You choose the password you want to use in the configuration of the program (Options-Remote)

For anyone else having problems with the Remote Client this is what I wish knew earlier
I hope it helps someone!

On the Remote PCs:
-> Install Cobian Reflector
-> Configure your backup jobs and test them
-> Go to >> Tools >> Options >> Remote
-> Allow Remote Connections
-> Create a Password
-> Restart Reflector
-> Allow access through firewall if prompted

On the Master PC :
-> Save the Remote Client files to some directory
-> Run "Cobian.Reflector.RemoteClient.exe" manually once
-> After that you can open it from Reflector >>Tools >> Remote Client

In the Remote Client on the Master PC:
-> Open Site Manager (Connection >> Site Manager - or use the icon)
-> >>Add >> Enter the remote pc details
-> Save
-> Repeat for all remote PCs

Then you can open the Remote client, Connect to remote PC, run backups and download logs to check the backups worked.
You cannot see the remote PC logs inside the client.

Unlike how it work in Gravity version, with Reflector you have to register every client on your list on Site Manager, first you have to configure in the client PC on Settings - Remote - Active the option "Allow remote connections" - set Port, the password and click Ok. After that, you have to register on your Remote Client (where you going to manage the clients).
Once registered you have to connect it in the option Conecting..., select the client that you want to managment and click on conect.
Then, on the left side you can check the task this client has, even you can edit or create a new one.
