I have been having this issue with a task that takes to long to do it and cant cancel it no matter what i do still performing.
Please advice.

In which stadium is the task? Creating a shadow copy, compressing, counting files?

Checking a zip file

Also this task has to read a 52.75 gb size folder where this zip file is

Yes, if I remember it correctly this was a problem with the zip method, but worked OK with 7z.

i will compress again that zip into 7z but how do i cancel the backup it been running since yesterday at 9 pm and it only did 1%

Better to kill the process (Cobian.Reflector.Application) or to stop the service.

Dont see a process running i stoped the shadow copy requester and still running.
I have to uninstall it install it again and restore the list.
That is my only way to have reflector back to work.
Unless you have a tool that will check everything and shut/stop any related service or process.

Had to exit the app and now when i try to run it again i get the message file attached.

Using cmd as admin it find one PID but when you try to force to stop it dont.
Using powershell finds two PID's so when you force to close and you run the get-process those to PID are still there.
I am providing all this info if some one comes into the same issue.
So my next step is uninstall reflector and reinstalling
