Installed latest version...can't find engine

So I installed the latest version.

First didn't know it would delete all my lists created. You should warn people before the install.

First I did not install as a service. I did try to install later as a service and it says the application could not be closed.

It wont auto-start

Say engine not found and I can't do anything.

Uninstalled and reinstalled same thing.

Please help.

Well I got it to install as a service but it wont see any of the directories in the network.

Only the local computer and drives.

As a service you cannot install it under the local System account. Install it as a regular account.

I couldn't get it to install and work without installing it as a service first. Tried multiple times.

Then in the tools and services control I uninstalled it.

Everything seems to be working now...

What is the error you are getting when installing as an application?

Just said no engine found in the bottom left corner and would not let me do anything beyond that.

But the installer should have shown an error in it's log tab. Something like "couldn't start the application..."

Sorry I uninstalled that version and installed as a service and then uninstalled the service so I don't have the log file for that install.
