modifying an existing backup

Post by dansperling »

I'm new to Cobian Reflector, which a technician set up for me by creating a Daily Backup that automatically runs. I want to change one of the sources he set up, but when I double-click on that source and navigate to the source I want to change it to, I don't see a way to "save" that new source to Cobian Reflector, so the original (i.e., unwanted) source still remains there. How can I change or modify a source in an existing backup, and is there a way to add a new source?

Just select the source and click Edit. Select the new source and click OK. The old source should be replaced.

To add a new source to an existing backup task, you can click on the "Add" button (usually represented by a plus icon) in the "Sources" tab of the backup task settings window. Follow the prompts to select the new source location and configure any additional settings.
