I've created a Main Root folder named "Client_Cloud_Storage" which has a sub folder named "John"
I also have a root folder named "John_Test"
when backing up the client data over SFTP, the Initial Directory is set to "/" and backups are stored on the root folder named John_Test
I need to set the backup to point to /Client_Cloud_Storage/John however changing the Initial Directory to /Client_Cloud_Storage/John
when performing a Remote Server Test, I get the following error:
Couldn't create the remote directory "/Client_Cloud_Storage/John": No such file (code=2)
The user has permissions to both \\Volume_1\John and \\Volume_1\Client_Cloud_Storage\John on the NAS yet the backup will always default to \\Volume_1\John
What am I missing?

Re: Issue Selecting User BackUp Folder
always create parent folder is set
strange that I can't select the directory to store the data even though the user has all necessary rights on the Synology NAS
can it be the location format? ie. /Client_Cloud_Storage/John

Re: Issue Selecting User BackUp Folder
The path is OK. But the Initial folder on a ftp connection must exist, if I remember it correctly.

Re: Issue Selecting User BackUp Folder
An ftp path shouldn't begin with double //.
