An I/O exception occurred

Post by Dron »

When copying via FTPS, an error often began to occur

ERR 2023-08-30 12:56:06 An error occurred while downloading the file "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\44137aa9-275b-418b-8963-f96192d40bd6\BACKUP.7z" to "/": An I/O exception occurred.

Tell me where to look: is this an error on the source where the files are copied from? Or an error on FTP where the files are copied to? Or the error can lie in the disconnection?

Seems like a permissions issue (?) Try changing the temporary directory.

I don't think so. This error occurs on different servers with different user structure.

In the next topic, you advised changing the "Keep alive" settings, the only question is where: on the FTP (server) or on the Cobin (client)? Or maybe both there and there?

Try changing thekeep alive at the client level first.

Do more or less? And what exactly?

This setting?

Or this?

I tried to raise "Notransfer Timeout" from default 300 to 3000 seconds on the my FTP server, and "Timeout"" from 600 to 6000 seconds - it did not help. Probably a question in adjustments of clients.
