Continue with a Full Backup?

Post by ampleforth »

I have a backup that runs up to a day, sometimes more. Occasionally, I also have the issue that the network connection breaks (this may be related to my router, which I should change or look into).

This brings me to my question: Is it possible to set up a full backup that continues where it left off (i.e. redoing the file that failed an then continue in the list)?

Here the settings I have right now (Cobian Reflector 2.3.3 for Win 10 x64):

General:
Create new separate backups (disabled) -- so that I do not get a separate folder each time
Full Backup (enabled)

It appears as if the same files copied again, even if they have not been changed or modified.

Am I looking at the wrong feature here as this is not really a backup, but a mirroring task?

Thanks!

The first backup will always be full (if this option is checked, which it is as default). The firest backup then nneds to be executed to the end. Then the second backup can be done incrementally or differentially in order to save time.
