Differential copy does not delete redundant copies

Hi!

Makes a daily differential copy with a set retention of the last 3 copies. Nothing has been changed in the settings and for the past few days the program has been making a new copy correctly, but it cannot delete the old copy. It reports the message:


ERR 2024-02-27 18:11:04 Nie mogę zakończyć usuwania plików na zdalnym serwerze: Login authentication failed (code=530) (code=530)

Where to find the solution to the problem - The copy is made correctly so the login data is OK, then why the login error ??

The deletion is done on its own thread so if you have impersonated the task, the deletion will certainly fail.

OK an FTP destination. That's important info that you left out.

Then, what version are yu using? I remember I fixed some similar problem some months ago.

Version 2.56.50 - The problem appeared after the update, that's how I associated it now

Nothing has changed in 2.6.50 in the FTP logic at all. Very weird.

You can try double-check the login credentials (username and password) used by the program. Even though the copying is successful, the deletion process may require different or additional permissions. Ensure that the credentials are correct and have the necessary permissions for both copying and deleting.poly track

You can check the credentials for the remote server in your CobianSoft settings to ensure they are correct,fnf and also verify if any changes have been made to the server's settings or permissions that could be causing the authentication failure.
