I'm sorry to hear that you're abandoning this project, your software is really great and so much better than many paid programs. Maybe you could consider making Reflector also a paid program, if that's not against your principles, for instance offering a free version with some limitations and a paid one with full capabilities? I would certainly buy it. Anyhow I made a donation, it was only 25 EUR but I hope it helps a bit. Whatever your decision is, I wish you the best for your life and your future projects.

Cobian backup and Reflector are still unique in their approach of a backup and from that point of view filled a gap which is still relevant/actual.

I echo other replies in support of you, my friend. I was unaware the project was back in your court. I thought you had already hand over the reigns to another developer/interested party. You have to love what you do. You've created something great here and I, too, hope someone with the skillset(s) needed will want to take the baton and take the next leg of the race. Thank you very much for a very functional backup program that gets the job done adequately without bells & whistles and other features that don't matter. Over the years I must have tried close to six other backup programs both free and paid ones, always coming back to Cobian and now Reflector. Even though I know that you are leaving, I still wanted to make a donation, just to show my gratitude.
I truly hope that Reflector does not become an orphan product but you are entitled to your life, at any case.

But I need some C# developer that is willing to help with this. (I have one developer right now but I think 2 developers will be the sweet spot).

Acabo de leer tu post, y aunque es raro que participe en foros, solo quería indicarte, que te entiendo perfectamente, yo por desgracia programo en php y otros pero no en C# por lo que poco puedo aportar en ese aspecto, salvo darte las gracias porque como en otros post he visto he usado cobian durante años para copias de seguridad y a fecha de hoy seguir siendo el programa para copias único que recomiendo y uso.

Lo ideal seria al menos hacerlo open source, pero también puedes plantearte algunas mejoras de pago.

O bien realizar un crowdfunding y que por cada versión, o mejora que te pidan o realices, le puedas poner un precio y cuando se llegue a este, que lo realices, al menos asi no lo descartarás del todo y lo podrás ir haciendo a medida que se cubran los gastos que estimes.

gracias a personas como tu, existen programas como este, y que no sean de pago y tan potentes como cobian, cada vez quedan menos.
