Post by BradleyCollins »

It's possible to fix permission issues in Cobian Backup by following these steps and tips:

1. Log in as an administrator and run Cobian Backup.
To get to some files, folders, or system settings, Cobian Backup might need to be run as an administrator. Make sure that the app has the right permissions to run.

Step 1: Right-click on the file or shortcut for Cobian Backup.
Choose to run as an executive.
Do the backup again to see if the permission problem is still there.
Check the permissions for the user account
You should make sure that the user account that Cobian Backup is running as can view all the files and folders you want to back up. If you want to use a certain user account for the Cobian Backup service, make sure that this account can get to both the source and target paths.
