Having moved to Reflector and setting up a routine and
Checking: Include Backup Type In Name
I see that the log shows
"G:\TrialBackupNames\Documents 2024-12-07 14;51;31 (Full)" has been successfully created
However, File Explorer shows "Documents".
Only the differential backups show the phrase such as "Documents 2024-12-07 14;42;05 (Differential)"
It makes it tricky to identify the correct "Full" to pair with the latest "Differential" for recovery.
Is this a flaw in Cobian or a "feature" of File Explorer?
Any guidance gratefully received.
Thank you
Include Backup Type In Name - Issue
Re: Include Backup Type In Name - Issue
Add a mask to exclude "desktop.ini". Delete the destination and backup again. This should solve this issue.

Re: Include Backup Type In Name - Issue
I have followed your instructions but it still does not work. Do you have a way or can you give me specific instructions?

Re: Include Backup Type In Name - Issue
This will work for NEW backups. For old ones you need to delete these files manually from existing backups.
