Thank you for your report . Does this happen when starting the main service or the VSC requester? Does this happens with the latest version?

It's happen with the version 0.9.07.

I'm not sure to understand what the VSC requester is but it was append :
- during the installation phase,
- when in tools menu i've click on "service and application control" on the information page
- when I select in this window "service" page, and i try to start "control the main service" and "control the volume shadow copy register"

Sounds like a corrupted installation. Download the latest version and see if it works.

Could you check the Event Viewer and see if you find some more info there?

Also, can you start the service using the normal way (Control-Panel/Service)?

In the event viewer I can see :

- Le service Cobian Reflector moteur n’a pas pu démarrer en raison de l’erreur :
Cobian Reflector moteur n’est pas une application Win32 valide.

-Volume Windows (\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy60) est sain. Aucune action n’est nécessaire.

For the first message there is also

Thanks. What is the name of the directory where the program is installed? I have seen this problem 4 times and every time is on a french language system.. maybe a coincidence, but...
