FTP Backup - Corrupted files in destination

Post by Luso »

Hi,

Im glad to see this project live again ... it deserves !

I had installed the new version, and created a backup via FTP ( like in Gravity Version ).

After the first try, i looked in the destination backup and tried to open the files ( PDF, XlS, JPG ), all of them are corrupted.

tryed the few options available but with no success.

Is not about the server because Cobian gravity performs well in the same destination FTP Server. No problem at all opening the files after copy.

i´m aware is in beta and maybe exist some errors ...

Another detail : we lost the "FTP TEST" button in the Reflector Version, that was very handly in prior versions.

Let me ask to other users, are you getting issues with FTP backups :?:

Thanks Cobian for your return.

Filezila Server on Windows 10.

As i said, got more PCs doing FTP Copy by Cobian gravity with no problems. Reflector send the files via FTP and stay corrupted. Sike Ok.

I can send you 2 files ( original and copy of a PDF ), or let you access to both PCs ( server and client ) via Anydesk, if that help you.

Will try installing filezilla and testing against it.

Is the connection passive? Implicit or explicit?

Hello.

I also have a problem with copying files to FTP.
The files on the FTP server are 2 times larger than the original (Microsoft SQL backups are copied) and, naturally, they do not correspond to the original. If you copy the file to the FTP server using Total Commander, then everything is copied without errors. I attach the log of connection and copying of the file to FTP through the TC. If necessary, I can send the originals and copies of the files processed by Reflector.
