CR remembers settings

I have uninstalled CR ... checked that all CR folders in Program Files have been deleted ... re-installed CR.
A new task shows values including "destination folder" and "dynamics" remembered from before uninstall.
Where are these values coming from?
I have CB also installed on the same machine.
