Request Feature re/ Log Reporting of Files Backed Up

Post by BernardIE5317 »

Greetings I attempted an incremental backup w/ "Verbose log" set in hopes it would tell me which files it backed up It did not It merely reported the directories it deleted due to they being empty Kindly consider an option which would permit the log to display the files it backed up I am less interested in what the program did not do than I am in what it actually did - Thank You Kindly - Cheerio

Yu need to check "Log indvidual file operations" in order to see any file operation.

Greetings Kind Regards I applied your suggestion to wit Log level Log normally and Log individual files The displayed output is shown below The log file which is referred to w/o a name was empty Also you will notice the displayed output repeatedly informs it did nothing What sense does that make So it appears it is not possible to be informed as to which files were backed up w/o having to open Windows File Explorer and view the target drive

Further "Log level" allows one of four settings and the "Log individual files" option is provided So there are eight possible combinations of these two controls It is not clear what each combination means May I suggest something simple and obvious as a replacement to wit

true/false log errors
true/false log files backed up
true/false log files not backed up
true/false log directories created
true/false log directories not created
true/false repeatedly be informed nothing was done

Further it appears Reflector is not stable upon "Log > Select all" followed by "Log > Copy selection" This causes the user interface to disappear and the icon in the Hidden icons tray as well
