AFAIK, you should attach following files for Luis to understand what is going on :
  • Cobian Reflector tasks list : C:\Program Files\Cobian Reflector\Lists\MainList.lst
  • Cobian Reflector settings : C:\Program Files\Cobian Reflector\Settings\Cobian Reflector.ini
Best regards,
See attachments. (The attachments functions wants zip files only. Picky, picky, picky. It should state so in the description.)

But your task is Manual! The schedule will not even touch it!

Now on CobianReflector-0.9.70.exe

It is suppose to be manual. The Scheduler should not be involved at all. I run it manually from the UI. It takes four manual starts to actually run a backup.

Sure, but you say...
Problem, first backup after a reboot, Reflector does not ever try to do a backup...
Well, it won't even try. It's a manual backup.

BTW... Does the log files show any errors at all? (your screenshots are showing the log tab, not the log files).

Some of my customer use "Manual' to run their backups when they leave their offices and let Cobian shut their computers down. Others use manual to do a backup when they think they have enough stuff that has changed. Others use "Scheduler" to backup in the night. I use Manual to test out various configurations before releasing them on my customers.

Not until the forth attempt when it does an actual backup and find the backup drive full.

The log files before that looks like:
022-01-01 15:01:14 Welcome to Cobian Reflector!
2022-01-01 15:01:14 Loading the task list "C:\Program Files\Cobian Reflector\Lists\MainList.lst".

Now on CobianReflector-0.9.74.exe

Symptoms have changed. Every odd attempt works. Every even attempt gives:
2nd attempt:
2022-01-01 15:08:36 A backup has started...
2022-01-01 15:08:36 Calculating the number of files. This could take a while...

2022-01-01 15:08:36 Backing up the task "KVM-W11 Reflector Test"
2022-01-01 15:08:36 Requesting the creation of a Volume Shadow Copy image for the source...
2022-01-01 15:08:37 The backup has ended. There are errors. Consult the log file.

2022-01-01 15:08:38 The log files have been successfully deleted.

Log File of 4th attempt:
2022-01-01 15:09:58 The log files have been successfully deleted.
