BTW if Cobian Gravity is stuck on copying 1 file, is there a way to have it skip that file or any file it gets stuck on for that matter? I seem to occasionally encounter a file it can't copy (possibly a corrupt file) and wish there was a way to skip and continue to the next files instead of having to stop the process, deal with the corrupt file and then re-start the backup.

Thank again

It should do that. Is Volume Shadow Copy enabled?

initially it wasn't enabled but have since enabled VSC

That is the responsibility of the OS. IF you try to copy the file manually, it should give you the same problem I think.
