Windows Server 2022 and QNap user error

Hello

When try to backup to nas qnap set user and password but user is sended like

.\<username>

QNap not recognize this user

ERR 2022-01-19 00:32:35 L'utente .\xxxxx non è riuscito ad accedere: Nome utente o password non corretta

If you are using impersonation with ".", then this is used to impersonate a user *on your computer". If the user is on the nas, then you should use the Nas name instead for "."

Oh yes, but with "nas//beppe" it doesn't work, even with ".//beppe" it doesn't work
I think that only "beppe" works without ".//" you can't avoid adding it.

Using FTP the backup works, unfortunately it puts all the dates of the files to the day of the Backup and does not keep the creation date

You need then to run the program as an application and not use impersonation.

Another think you can do is to mount the share as a drive with a "Pre-backup event" and logs in the current user. Then with a Post backup event unmount the drive.
