Run task from CMD when CR is a service

Post by antonio1981 »

Cobian Reflector was installed as a service. Is there any CMD command to run specified backup task? Or any other method?
I need to run backup just before computer shut down.

I know the CMD command when CR is installed as application, but I need it when CR is installed as a service.

Unfortunately a service cannot be controlled the same way than an application. But why don't you start the needed task from the user interface?

I'm using Cobian Reflector (CR) to copy user's files on Windows 10 Home. CR has security password, unknown by user, so user can't use interface, beacause possibility of change/destory task configuration.

I'd like to crete some kind of .cmd script contains 2 commands:
- run backup task in CR
- shutdown system.

If it's not possible when CR is a service, then OK. I will reinstall it as an application.
