Problem with backup Logging

Post by Volpad »

Hi,
I currently run the reflector on 2 machines. One Server 2019 and one Windows 10.

On the Win10 machine, I have noticed a problem.
The log on the application says the following:

Code: Select all

    2022-02-10 14:01:01 A backup has started...
2022-02-10 14:01:01 Calculating the number of files. This could take a while...

2022-02-10 14:03:27 Backing up the task "Folder Backup"
2022-02-10 14:03:27 Requesting the creation of a Volume Shadow Copy image for the source...
2022-02-10 14:03:27 The Volume Shadow Copy image has been successfully created.
2022-02-10 14:03:27 Starting the copy. The user running the task is: volpad
    2022-02-10 14:03:28 Backing up the directory "\\Remote_Server\Shares\Storage\Folder" to "\\192.168.1.200\GoFlex Home Backup\BACKUP\Folder"...
2022-02-10 14:17:07 The log files have been successfully deleted.
The log I receive on mail, says the same without the last line.
Looking at the History tab, I can see that the backup has finished, backing up some files. I cannot see if there was an error anywhere on the log.
On the mail subject, I can see the 0 errors (as i have configured).

This is because the log must be closed when mailing and some lines may be lost.

I may have a solution for the next version.

I understand how they might be lost in the mail, buy why are they lost in the application too?

The logg system is down. It controls both parts. Fixed for the next version.
