Error creating Volume Shadow Copy

Hi Doctor,
I have 2 backup routines on a 2012r2 Server.
One works perfectly.
The other has an error when trying to create Volume Shadow.
Both routines have the source files on the same drive (D:) and the destination of both is the same folder as well.

Below the error:
The user XXX has successfully been impersonated.
Requesting the creation of a Volume Shadow Copy image for the source...
ERR 2022-02-21 21:00:17 One or more errors occurred while creating the Volume Shadow Copy image.

Any idea?

The impersonated user may not have the permissions to create a Volume Shadow Copy image. A wild guessing, but there should be some more info in the event viewer.

I found 2 errors into Windows Event Viewer

Cobian Reflector VSC Requester

- An error occurred while preparing for backup: The VSS object was in an incorrect state for the requested operation..
- Couldn't create the snapshot: The creation of a shadow copy is already in progress..

Any ideia, Man?

Both rotines are using the same user

It seems like the machine is in an inestable state for the VSC. Could you restart the machine and see if it's OK after the reboot?

I´ll try but i believe that is not it.
This Server makes a daily Baremetal copy of Windows that uses VSS without problems.
