Hello!
I'm new here and it will be the second time I had used Cobian (really great, by the way). :D
I would like to know if it is possible to back up a Windows Hyper-V Server 2012R2. Unfortunately, it doesn't have an interface, but I tried to install but I could not configure a task to run.
In attachments, I've put an image to show how is appearing. Cobian services are running normally.
Is there an alternativa way to use it?
Thank you guys in advance.

Have no experience at all with the program and Hyper-V... Need to test.

Re: Cobian on Hyper-V Server
I tested in Windows Hyper-V Server 2019. When you run the interface, it runs in the system tray. But since there is no GUI, I cannot right-click on the icon and open the program. What to write for the interface so that the program window opens immediately?
Re: Cobian on Hyper-V Server
OK, I would run the interface with the -noui argument. This way it will open directly and not use the system tray.

Good afternoon! A similar problem. Cobian.exe -noui does not work.
Re: Cobian on Hyper-V Server
So you want to run the program without the interface. Do you see the process running on your task manager?

Re: Cobian on Hyper-V Server
You are absolutely right, the program runs in the background. The question is different - how to run cobian.exe and get the program settings window right away, bypassing the creation of an icon in the tray and opening the interface through this icon. As the creator of the topic wrote to you, because of this sequence, it is impossible to configure archiving tasks on Windows Hyper-v Server. As a workaround, this is manual editing of Cobian configuration files with a connection to the Cobian Backup server and working with it already, but suddenly there is an easier option.

Great! Exactly what I need!
