Incremental Backup only runs on renamed files
If I change the contents of a TXT file, for example, without changing the file name, it is not backed up.
The backup only occurs if the file changes folders, or if it is renamed.
Any idea what could be causing this?
I'm using Windows x64

Re: Incremental Backup only runs on renamed files
Are you using the archive attribute method? If so, is the source on NTFS or on some non-native (like Linux) file system?

Re: Incremental Backup only runs on renamed files
Can you check manually if the archive attribute of the file is changing automatically to "set" after changing the text and saving?

Re: Incremental Backup only runs on renamed files
What attribute do you refer to?
Re: Incremental Backup only runs on renamed files
The file attribute. Right click on some your source file and select properties. Select then Advanced and see if the "File is ready fo archiving" is set. It should be set for the file to be backed up.
