Different flashing color for new version needed!

Hi!

Thank you very much for this fine piece of software and for free nonetheless!

Here is a suggestion:
While frequent updates are amazing, a evenly frequently blinking red icon seems to be a bit overkill.

In my mind red should be reserved for critical errors in backups and not for a version update notification.

If you could give the option to change that into something less threatening I would apprerciate that very much! It gives me anxiety

Thanks for the reply. But that would disable the notification altogether, wouldn't it?
I would still like the blinking icon just a different color. When I see red the first thing that pops in my mind "Oh no, an error with the backup".

Yes, this will disable the notification but a note in the log file will be still added. There is no way to change the color at this moment. Perhaps in version 3 if I ever get there
