File upload failed

Post by roberto » Wed Aug 21, 2019 6:52 pm

Hi, I have a problem with the cobian I try to make backups by ftp, but it does not upload the files, if I am on a local network there is no problem but when trying to upload them remotely it does not, when doing the test from the cobian if it makes the connection, create the test folder but the file marks error.
Thus it appears when performing the test:

The test will be performed by the engine. I waited...
    Connecting to "201.175.70.21:21"
User "Roberto" has logged in to "201.175.70.21:21"
Changing the remote directory to "Tyssa"
The remote directory has been changed to "Tyssa"
    Creating the remote folder "Cobian Backup 11 test folder-2019-08-21 11; 34; 44"
The remote folder "Cobian Backup 11 test folder-2019-08-21 11; 34; 44" has been successfully created
Changing the remote directory to "Cobian Backup 11 test folder-2019-08-21 11; 34; 44"
The remote directory has been changed to "Cobian Backup 11 test folder-2019-08-21 11; 34; 44"
    Uploading the test file "C: \ Windows \ Temp \ Test file.txt" ...
ERR An error occurred while uploading the test file "C: \ Windows \ Temp \ Test file.txt": Read timed out.
ERR Some errors have been detected while checking FTP options
    FTP client has disconnected

I'm still testing and now it marks me like this

The test will be performed by the engine. I waited...

Are you behind a firewall? Is the connection passive? If not, try to change the connection to Passive. Try also indicating the Min and Max dataport (if the connection must be active).
