Post by rharvey » Wed Apr 10, 2019 1:39 am

2019-04-07 04:39 ** Backup done for the task "nightly backup". Errors: 1. Processed files: 37212. Backed up files: 37194. Total size: 168.47 GB **
2019-04-07 04:39 --
how do i know what was not backed up?
it says it Processed files: 37212
then it say it Backed up files: 37194
that is not the same amount, there are 18 files that were processed and not backed up.
how do i know what they were?
thanks
Robert

Check the log file Log-Open log files. Do you find any information there?

that came from the log file, I made it a publish everything and it did not show what was not backed up, only what was backed up and verified. which are 1000's of files...
thanks

I though this came from the log *tab* (not the log file). The log file often contains more info than the log tab on the user interface. Anyway, if no other relevant info is shown, try setting the log kind to Verbose. This will slow down the backup but at leat you will get *all* the info and you'll be able to track down the problem.

how will the files not included in the backup be noted that they are not included? when you have the logs show you everything?
in other word when you have a verbose log, how does the log specify the the few files that were not backed up.
thanks

It will be shown as "Ignoring the file X. Reason: Y".
