Mapped Drive

Post by JMill » Wed Jun 05, 2019 11:09 pm

Greetings, I have an issue with backing up to a mapped drive. I get the following error msg:
ERR 2019-05-30 13:50 Couldn't create the destination directory "\\192.168.1.4\Users\xxxxxxx\Documents\Job Forms 2019-05-30 13;50;54 (Full)": The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. The drive letter in explorer for that drive is W:\Job Forms, but when I put that in the destination window, it puts the complete path in which I assuming is the wrong syntax.

Regards,
JM

Is the program running as a service? If so, try changing the installation mode to Application (in the settings) and see if the error is now gone.

Greetings, As recommended, I changed is to application mode, and it did not correct the issue. Windows 10 does not like the address portion apparently. I tried it on a local drive and it works perfect

JM
